I heart Market is a community of makers. For 15 years, we've been creating a platform for local design, craft, fashion and food. I heart Market is the anti-mall – providing a retail space for local creatives, that is also a great day out in Durban. On market day, locals and visitors, friends and family gather at I heart Market to meet the makers, people watch, eat great food and support local artisans and crafters.
I heart Market takes place on the first Saturday of every month from 9 AM to 2 PM. The exception is in December when we hold more markets before the Christmas dates.

The School Hall has air conditioning, guaranteeing a comfortable visit rain or shine. There are also designated areas for parking within the school grounds and precinct monitored by security guards.
There is ample safe parking available at Northlands Primary School.
There is no entrance fee. Everybody is welcome!
We have put together a collection of the best creatives. You'll find a wide range of different products that are all locally designed and produced and of great quality. Expect fashion, jewellery, home decor, kiddies wear, plants, natural skincare, deli goods, accessories, vintage collectables, art, ceramics and delicious foods.
You'll find that many traders accept cards. Most have scan and pay options like Zapper. All traders accept cash. There are no ATMSs on site so do draw cash to make sure you don't miss out on any treats!
Not every vendor trades at every market. Pop past our INFO table and we will try and locate the vendor for you.

If you don't know the trader's name then please pop us a mail on info@iheartmkt.com and give us as much info as possible so that we can point you in the right direction. ie: where the stall is situated, a detailed description of what they sell etc.

As the majority of our traders are either in an air-conditioned hall or under cover, we never miss a market so you'll always find us on the first Saturday of the month.
